About M10 Ministries
No missionary should have to figure out support raising alone.
M10 was founded to bring professional fundraising expertise, practical guidance, and faithful accompaniment to missionaries and the organizations sending them.
I know what it costs to do this without support.
I raised personal missionary support for two years without the training or ongoing guidance I needed.
The process was harder than it needed to be. I made mistakes I did not know I was making, carried anxiety I did not need to carry, and came away with a distorted understanding of what it meant to ask someone to support a mission.
I never forgot that experience.
Years later, after building a career in professional fundraising, I realized I had spent more than a decade learning what could have made that season different. I also saw that many missionaries were still navigating the same process with limited preparation and little continued support.
M10 Ministries exists to change that.
Experience behind the work
Fundraising knowledge grounded in current professional practice.
After raising my own missionary support, I helped a startup campus ministry build the infrastructure for a sustainable development program.
I later worked within a missionary organization, where I grew development revenue, established a monthly giving program, and oversaw more than two dozen missionaries through personal support raising. That experience showed me what genuinely helps missionaries progress and what merely sounds helpful during training.
Since then, my work has included nonprofit consulting, development strategy, major gifts, and capital campaigns. I continue to advise nonprofit organizations, which means the expertise behind M10 reflects current fundraising practice rather than an approach that stopped evolving
Experience behind the work
What we believe about support raising.
Support raising is a ministry.
Inviting someone to support a mission is also inviting them to participate in it. Done faithfully, support raising deepens relationships, expands involvement in the Church’s mission, and gives supporters a meaningful share in the work.
Missionaries need more than information.
A training event can provide knowledge. Lasting progress requires practice, accountability, adaptation, and someone who remains present when the process becomes difficult.
Honest conversations improve outcomes.
Missionaries may hesitate to tell a supervisor when they are discouraged, avoiding calls, or falling behind. An outside coach provides a confidential place to identify the real obstacle and begin addressing it.
Fundraising expertise matters.
A successful personal experience does not automatically translate into fundraising expertise. Missionaries deserve guidance rooted in a deeper understanding of generosity, donor relationships, communication, and sustainable development.
Build a stronger support-raising program for the people you send.
Whether you are preparing your first missionary or leading an established sending organization, M10 can help you identify what is working, where missionaries are getting stuck, and what kind of support would make the greatest difference.
