M10 Services
Training, coaching, and consulting for missionary support raising.
Every organization has different people, expectations, timelines, and internal resources. M10 helps you determine what your missionaries need and what your organization needs to support them successfully.
Missionary Training
Give missionaries a clear and practical path forward.
Missionaries are often given a financial goal without being given a complete process for reaching it. M10 training connects the spiritual foundation of support raising with the practical skills required to carry it out.
Missionaries learn how to:
- Understand the biblical and theological foundation of support raising.
- Build a realistic personal and ministry budget.
- Identify and organize prospective supporters.
- Communicate their calling and mission clearly.
- Initiate personal conversations and schedule appointments.
- Lead an effective partnership meeting.
- Make a direct and confident invitation to give.
- Follow up clearly and respectfully.
- Track activity, commitments, and progress.
- Steward supporters beyond the initial gift.
Missionaries leave with an actionable plan and working materials designed to be used throughout the support raising process.
Available Formats
Onsite Team Intensive
In-person training for a full missionary team.
Virtual Team Training
A series of online sessions that allows missionaries to apply what they learn between meetings.
Individual Training
One-on-one virtual training for organizations sending one or two missionaries at a time.
Ongoing Coaching
Turn what missionaries learned into consistent action.
Training gives missionaries a strategy. Coaching helps them apply it when the process becomes difficult.
Once the first contacts have been called and initial momentum begins to slow, missionaries often encounter obstacles that cannot be solved by reviewing a workbook. They need help evaluating what is happening, refining their approach, and continuing to take meaningful action.
Through regular coaching, M10 helps missionaries:
- Review activity and fundraising progress.
- Establish priorities for the coming week.
- Prepare for upcoming supporter conversations.
- Debrief meetings and strengthen future invitations.
- Work through specific relational challenges.
- Adjust strategies that are not producing progress.
- Address fear, discouragement, and avoidance.
- Maintain consistent accountability.
- Continue moving toward their funding goal.
Coaching also gives missionaries a place to speak honestly about challenges they may not feel comfortable discussing with a supervisor.
Organizational Consulting
Improve the program, not just the current cohort
When each new group of missionaries encounters the same difficulties, the underlying problem may be the system surrounding them.
M10 works with organizational leaders to evaluate and strengthen the complete support-raising experience. Recommendations are shaped around the organization’s mission, structure, staffing, expectations, and available resources.
Consulting may include:
- Evaluating the existing support-raising program.
- Clarifying organizational and missionary responsibilities.
- Establishing realistic goals and timelines.
- Creating milestones and progress benchmarks.
- Improving internal coaching and accountability.
- Defining supervisor and leadership responsibilities.
- Strengthening communication between departments.
- Aligning missionary support with broader development efforts.
- Developing processes that can serve future cohorts.
- Equipping staff to carry more of the program internally.
